# AI rap song generator: your bars, a real beat, a finished track

> AI Song Maker works as an AI rap song generator. Describe the style (boom bap, trap, drill, lo-fi or West Coast), the tempo, the beat and the rapper's delivery, then paste your own bars or let the model write them. Lyria 3 Pro returns a full track of up to about 3 minutes for 20 credits, and a 30-second Lyria 3 clip costs 10. New accounts get two free Lyria 3 Pro songs (40 credits).

Describe the beat, the flow and the attitude. Paste your verses and hook or let the model write them, and get a rap song back as an MP3.

## What the rap generator does well

- **Beats in any rap style**: Boom bap swing, trap hi-hat rolls, drill slides, lo-fi crackle or G-funk synths, all described in plain words.
- **Your bars, performed**: Paste verses and a hook and the model raps them over the beat. Mark the sections with [Verse] and [Hook].
- **Or bars written for you**: Leave the lyrics empty, describe the topic and the attitude, and the model writes the verses and the hook.
- **Flow and delivery**: Ask for a laid-back flow, double-time verses, a melodic hook or an aggressive delivery, and the vocal follows.
- **Hooks in 30 seconds**: Test a hook on Lyria 3 for 10 credits before making the full track with Lyria 3 Pro.
- **Original by design**: Describe a style, never a named rapper's voice. Every track is newly generated, and the models refuse voice imitation.

## How to make a rap song with AI

1. **Describe the beat**: Style, tempo, drums, bass and texture, for example: dark drill beat, 142 BPM, sliding 808s, eerie choir.
2. **Write or skip the bars**: Paste your verses and hook with section tags, or describe the topic and let the model write them.
3. **Generate and listen**: Download the MP3, or change the flow or the tempo and try again.

## Writing bars an AI can rap

Rap is rhythm first. A few habits make your verses land on the beat:

- Keep lines a similar length, so each one fits a bar
- Put the strongest rhyme at the end of the line
- Keep the hook short and repeat it word for word
- Tag the sections: [Intro], [Verse], [Hook], [Bridge], [Outro]
- Spell slang and names the way they are said

## Rap styles and tempos to name

Naming the style and the tempo is the fastest way to the right beat. Typical ranges:

- Boom bap: 85–95 BPM, swung drums, sampled loops
- Trap: 130–150 BPM with a half-time feel, rolling hi-hats, 808s
- Drill: around 140 BPM, sliding 808s, sparse, dark melodies
- Lo-fi hip-hop: 70–90 BPM, dusty drums, mellow keys
- West Coast G-funk: 90–100 BPM, whining synth leads, funky bass

## AI rap generator rules

Write about anything you like within our terms: no threats, slurs or harassment of real people, and no lyrics you do not own. Ask for a style, not a specific rapper's voice. Google's Lyria models block artist voice imitation and copyrighted lyrics, and a blocked song is refunded. For playful roasts, use the diss track generator.

## Rap generator questions

### Can AI write rap lyrics for me?

Yes. Leave the lyrics box empty and describe the topic and attitude, and the model writes verses and a hook. For more control, write the bars yourself and paste them with [Verse] and [Hook] tags.

### Can I get just the beat?

Yes. Pick the instrumental model (10 credits) and describe the beat; it never adds vocals. You can also ask Lyria 3 Pro for an instrumental in the description.

### Can it rap like a famous rapper?

No. Songs are generated, not voice clones. Describe the delivery instead, such as gravelly, laid-back, double-time or melodic, and the era and region of the style.

### Is the AI rap generator free?

New accounts get two free Lyria 3 Pro songs (40 credits). After that, a full track costs 20 credits and a 30-second hook on Lyria 3 costs 10.
